Why visits to our farm are only possible during events – and what makes our approach so special
We constantly receive lovely messages asking if people can visit us and our horses. We are delighted by this interest – because it shows us how deep the fascination for our work, our stallions, and the farm at Gut Nüxei truly runs. And that's precisely why today we want to openly and sincerely explain why we cannot host regular visitors.
Our home here in Nüxei is not a traditional riding stable. We don't have boarders, no riding school operations, no pony ride afternoons. Instead, our stallions live here – powerful, strong-willed, in natural herd keeping. These are animals we have worked with, bred, and dreamed with for many years. They are the center of our farm life – and they demand our utmost attention, calm, and consistency.
Furthermore, we are an officially recognized EU insemination station. This comes with great responsibility – especially in terms of hygiene and safety. We work under strict veterinary guidelines to be a reliable partner for breeders across Europe. Every visitor, every deviation from the usual routines, means a risk – for the animals, for the processes, for our work.
As much as we understand that a visit to our farm would be a heartfelt wish for many – we ask for your understanding that this is not possible in everyday life.
But we want to open doors – even if only for special moments.
Two to three times a year, we invite you to special events. On these days, we open our farm at Gut Nüxei to visitors, show you our stallions, guide you through the EU insemination station, and tell you how everything here came to be. Daniela takes her time, offers insights, and shares stories that otherwise remain hidden.
