Stallion farm Gut Nüxei
At the end of 2009, our dream began to become reality. We purchased an old farm with a house, stable, barn and several hectares of pasture and arable land directly on the farm.
Our goal was to raise our own stallions and those we have boarded in a species-appropriate manner and to allow them to continue to live together harmoniously in group housing and year-round grazing in an open stable even when they are old enough to breed and compete.
Our concept
This resulted in a 150 square meter open stable with various resting and feeding areas, an adjacent spacious paddock of 100 square meters with access to a 200 square meter sand rolling and lying area. Adjacent to this are the entrances to the various pastures, so that year-round grazing is possible.
In addition to a horse walker, a treadmill and several solariums, we have a saline inhalation Viatal box to ensure that the horses are well in every respect.

As part of the stable evaluation through the certification of the LAG Laufstall-Arbeits-Gemeinschaft eV, we received full points in all criteria for our stallion husbandry in the herd and also for our mare husbandry with foals, and thus the gold star. From weanlings to old stallions, our own stallions and several breeding stallions live in a common herd.
For the continued well-being of the stallions, we work closely with a hoof orthopedist.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All-inclusive
Our vet also regularly carries out selective/timely deworming, and new arrivals must be selectively dewormed before delivery by means of a stool sample test. Regular preventative examinations by our equine dentist are also part of our services, as is the six-monthly assessment and treatment by our equine osteopath.

Bargain houses
We can still remember very well when we visited the Resthof for the first time. The TV team from the bargain houses was there. If you want to watch the show again, you can find us on the TV Now link. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
