The construction is based on a micro-perforated neoprene material ("Aerox Neoprene") that allows heat from the horse's leg to pass through, while ensuring internal ventilation through 3D mesh fabric with channels. Fresh air can flow in both horizontally and vertically, and heat can escape – thus achieving better climate management.

The inner lining is made of faux fur – a synthetic material without animal components – and belongs to the "Save The Sheep" line, which specifically aims for a vegan and more sustainable design.
