Stübben Bit 2250 D-Ring Snaffle double jointed - The double jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars. The D-ring provides lateral stabilization and guidance, creating calm and stability in the horse's mouth.
The large D-ring snaffle is characterized by a fixed ring. The sides should lie about one centimeter closer to the corner of the mouth compared to a loose ring snaffle. The D-ring prevents the corner of the mouth from being pinched in the rings and offers stronger lateral guidance compared to an eggbutt bit.
The horse cannot push the bit up with its tongue, so the mouthpiece lies more quietly in the mouth and is slightly more stabilized laterally. Since the ring does not rotate, there is minimal action on the poll, but the large D-ring also slightly softens the action.
